Lady Maples come up short against Cameron

Cameron (W.Va.) 49, Mapletown 29 — Cameron (W.Va.) pulled away in the second quarter Monday night on its way to a 49-29 non-section victory at Mapletown.

Cameron was leading 20-10 after the first quarter and increased its advantage to 31-12 at halftime. The visitors had a slight edge in the second half, 18-17.

Hannah Dusenberry led the Lady Maples (1-2) with 12 points. Hannah Dingle added 10.

Cameron’s Courtney Walker and Kelsie Meintel shared game-scoring honors with 16 points apiece.
