Strong finish carries Lady Falcons to 47-42 win

Connellsville 47, Elizabeth Forward 42 — The Connellsville girls trailed by four heading into the fourth quarter Monday night, but the Lady Falcons rallied for a 47-42 non-section win at Elizabeth-Forward.

The Lady Falcons (2-1) outscored the Lady Warriors in the final eight minutes, 14-5.

Connellsville led 15-9 after the first quarter, but Elizabeth-Forward (0-3) pushed into a 28-24 halftime lead.

Abbey Davis led Connellsville with a game-high 15 points. Madison Wiltrout and Molly Bauer both scored 10.

Julia Jenkins led the Lady Warriors with nine points.
