Carrick 52, Monessen 40 – The Monessen girls led 8-6 after the first quarter Friday night, but visiting Carrick pulled away in the second quarter and kept up the pressure for a 52-40 non-section road victory.

Carrick (2-3) led 21-12 at halftime and 37-24 after three quarters.

Qitarah Hardison had a double-double for the Lady Greyhounds (0-4) with 17 points and 18 rebounds.

Kaylan Cannon (16), Cali Shealy (11), and Sarah Ossman (10) finished in double figures for Carrick.

Ringgold 57, Allderdice 53 – The Ringgold girls trailed at halftime Friday night, but the Lady Rams rallied in the second half for a 57-53 non-section victory against visiting Allderdice.

Allderdice (2-3) led 24-22 at halftime, but Ringgold pulled ahead at the end of third quarter, 41-39. The Lady Rams put the finishing touches on the comeback with a 16-14 advantage in the fourth quarter.

Ashley Briscoe led Ringgold with 17 points. Taylor Costa finished with 12 and Nya Adams added 11.

Aujanae Givner scored a game-high 27 points for Allderdice. Emma Waite added 10.
