LH grad Browne out of Pinnacle FC 15

By The 1 min read

Laurel Highlands grad and Uniontown native Nick Browne is out of tonight’s MMA bout for Pinnacle FC 15 at the Teamsters Hall in Lawrenceville due to injury.

Browne, who is 7-0 as a professional, was scheduled to battle fellow undefeated fighter John “The Machine” Gunther (4-0) at 160 pounds.

The Uniontown Fight Club product, who is trained by Bill Bosley, is hoping that he and Gunther will have the opportunity to fight in the future once he is healthy.

Browne is the lightweight (155-pound) champion for Pinnacle FC, which is based out of Pittsburgh.

The event is set to start at 7 p.m. and will be headlined by Pittsburgh’s Dom Mazzotta, who defends his Pinnacle FC featherweight title against Solon LaVonne. Mark Cherico battles Antonio Castillo Jr. in the main event.

Castillo did not make weight but the two will still battle in an anticipated grudge match.
