Senior Ryan Shank scored a major decision in three wins but lost to the No. 2 ranked 184-pounder in the country in his lone setback.

Waynesburg (5-9) dropped its first match to Elmhurst, 32-15, and suffered a 22-18 loss to Simpson, where the Jackets had to forfeit to matches.

Coach Ron Headlee’s team lost to No. 23 Ferrum, 29-15, and dropped a 36-10 dual meet to host Luther (Iowa).

The Yellow Jackets return to action on Jan. 6 when they meet Thomas More for the first time ever in dual-meet competition to open Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) action.
