Carrick tops AG boys

Carrick 56, Albert Gallatin 44 — Ernie Howard scored 22 and Jordan Cobbs added 12 a Carrick beat Albert Gallatin, 56-44, in non-section boys basketball action Monday night.

The City League entry led 7-6 after one and 18-17 at halftime. Carrick pulled away with a 24-15 scoring edge in the fourth quarter.

Tavian Mozie led all scorers with 25 for AG (2-3), while Nate Bricker added 12.

The Colonials travel to Trinity tonight for their first game in Section 1-AAAAA.
