Laskey pours in 31 as Mustangs defeat GS, 75-57
Laurel Highlands tuned up for Tuesday’s showdown with cross-town rival Uniontown by stomping visiting Greensburg Salem, 75-57, in a non-section boys basketball game Thursday night as Bryce Laskey poured in a game-high 31 points.
The Mustangs (3-3) led 16-13 after one period then pushed out to a 38-24 halftime advantage and pulled away from there.
Hudson Novak followed Laskey in the LH scoring column with 23 points.
Marvel McGowan and A.J. Sharp paced the Lions with 22 and 14 points, respectively.
The Mustangs host the Red Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
