TJ defeats Colonials, 67-41

Thomas Jefferson took control of a close game by out-scoring Albert Gallatin 21-8 in the second period and went on to defeat the host Colonials, 67-41, in a Section 3-AAAAAboys basketball game Thursday night.

The Colonials (2-5, 0-2) trailed 10-8 after one period but the Jaguars (5-2, 2-0) surged to a 31-16 halftime lead and held a 46-27 advantage after three frames.

Justin Farrell led TJ with 28 points, Nick Freiwald followed with 17 and Spencer Everly chipped in with 13.

Tavian Mozie led AG with 22 points.
