Frazier girls hold on for 47-41 win

The Frazier girls held the advantage in the first and third quarters Friday afternoon as the Lady Commodores held on for a 47-41 win over Imani Christian in the Laurel Highlands Christmas Tournament.

The Lady Commodores (5-2) held a 23-12 scoring advantage in the first and third quarters and led 24-18 at halftime.

Imani Christian outscored Frazier in the other two quarters, 29-24.

Brooke Poling scored a game-high 21 points for Frazier, with Sierra Twigg adding 10.

Brandy Taylor led Imani Christian with 16 points. Lexus Santiago added 14.

The Slippery Rock-Albert Gallatin game was cancelled because of inclement weather, although the Slippery Rock-Belle Vernon game was rescheduled for Saturday at noon.
