Molly Bauer scored 17 points but it wasn’t enough as Connellsville fell to Mars, 66-50, at the Hempfield Chrsitmas Tournament in girls basketball action Thursday night.

Tia Johnson led the Lady Planets with 21 points and was followed by Nicole McCloud (15) and Lauren Wasylson (12).

Zoe Youdell tallied 11 points for the Lady Falcons, who trailed 18-10 after one period and 41-27 at halftime before rallying to pull within 47-40 by the end of the third but could get no closer.
