Lady Warriors close season on winning note

Justice Mitchell and Sierra Dawson combined for 40 points Monday night to lead Elizabeth-Forward to a season-ending 60-48 non-section victory over visiting McGuffey.

Mitchell scored 21 and Dawson added 19 as the Lady Warriors finish with an overall record of 9-13.

Elizabeth-Forward led 18-9, 33-29 and 47-37 at the quarter breaks.

Kati Demi led McGuffey (1-21) with a game-high 25 points.
