Connellsville ‘pins’ Jaguars, 63-13

The Connellsville wrestling team evened its mark in Section 2-AAA (2A) with a 63-13 road victory Thursday night at Thomas Jefferson.

The Falcons are now 1-1 in the section and 8-3 overall. They host Waynesburg Central tonight and Ringgold at 10 a.m. in a meet cancelled by Tuesday’s weather.

Mason Franks (113), Colin Franks (132), Arik Nickelson (138), Bryce Butler (145), William Bell (152), Luke Kuhns (160), Jobi Cook (195) all won by fall. Sterling Miller (220) won by decision. Travis Hufford (285), Tommy Provance (170), and Josh Stash (182) won by forfeit.
