Yellow Jacket wrestlers edge W&J, 22-21

Both Waynesburg and Washington & Jefferson won five bouts Thursday night, but Zach Swarrow’s pin at 133 pounds provided the difference in the Yellow Jackets’ 22-21 President’s Conference road victory.

Swarrow, a Beth-Center grad, pinned Johnathan Swann in 3:50 in the final bout of the match for the Yellow Jackets’ lone pin.

Filippo Crivelli won his 141-pound bout by forfeit. Landon Lohr won a 12-2 major decision at 165. Ryan Shank won by an 11-6 decision at 184 pounds, while Jake Evans took a 5-0 decision at 285 pounds.

The Presidents had three decisions and two pins.
