Lady Colonials defeat Kiski Area, 33-22

Kiski Area fought back for the lead at halftime, but the Albert Gallatin girls regained the advantage in the third quarter for a 33-22 Section 1-AAAA home victory Wednesday night.

The Lady Colonials (2-7, 3-15) led 9-5 after the first quarter, but the Lady Cavaliers pushed ahead at halftime, 18-15.

Albert Gallatin then clamped down on Kiski Area (0-10, 1-17) in the third quarter to regain the lead, 26-19, on the strength of an 11-1 scoring advantage.

The home team finished off the victory with a 7-3 fourth quarter.

Anaejah Harris led Albert Gallatin with 10 points.

Katelyn Brown scored nine points for Kiski.
