Hosfelt receives PAC honor

Washington & Jefferson College freshman Jordan Hosfelt, a Connellsville graduate, received All-PAC second-team honors after finishing third in the 1-meter dive and 3-meter dive in the conference championships.

Vulcans receive all-region honors

Senior Alex Zanella headlined a group of five California University of Pa. women’s track & field performers to receive USTFCCCA all-region honors awarded to the top-five individuals in each event, as well as the top-three relay teams.

Zanella won the PSAC Indoor Championships in the mile run and has now earned all-region honors a total of 10 times in her career.

The medley relay quartet of Zanella, Summer Hill, Gabby Irving and Jaclyn Reinbold, in addition to Hill in the 800 and Kailah Holmes in the triple jump were also honored.

Morgan Huegel earned honors for the men’s program in the 800, the second time he has been so recognized. The senior set the school record in the 800 in February at the Kent State Tune-Up.
