Burgettstown tops Mapletown in baseball

Burgettstown scored nine runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to invoke the 10-run mercy rule in Tuesday’s 15-3 non-section baseball win over Mapletown.

First names were not available for Burgettstown (2-0).

Dylan Rush and Pat Clites each scored one run and drove in a run, while R.J. Durr also scored for the Maples (0-1). Brian Bogden took the pitching loss for Mapletown.
