Parshall tossess 1-hitter in 14-0 victory

By The 1 min read

Bailey Parshall allowed just one hit, but stroked a single and double to once again lead the way in Belle Vernon’s 14-0 non-section win Wednesday afternoon at Laurel Highlands.

Parshall drove in a run and was once again stellar on the mound with 12 strikeouts and no walks.

The Lady Leopards (2-2) scored in every inning to invoke the 5-inning, 10-run mercy rule.

Belle Vernon’s Lexie Church finished with two singles, a triple and two RBI. Alyssa Larson had two singles, a double and two RBI, while Erica Amoroso finished with a single, double and two RBI. Katelin Legazza doubled and drove in a run.

Jenna Bliss’ single was the lone hit off Parshall. Taylor Maggert took the loss for Laurel Highlands (0-2), allowing 15 hits while walking nine and striking out two.
