Red Raiders top EF

1 min read

Mark Fike drove in two runs with a sixth-inning double to lead Uniontown to a 4-1 win over Elizabeth-Forward in a Section 4-AAA baseball game completed on Saturday.

The Red Raiders (7-9, 6-6) made the most of only three hits, as they avenged an earlier loss to the Warriors (1-15, 1-12).

Uniontown also kept its faint playoff hopes alive with the win. The Red Raiders must beat Laurel Highlands on Monday and Thomas Jefferson on Tuesday and need South Park to lose to Ringgold on Monday to make the post-season.

Colby Simmons got the pitching win for the Red Raiders.

Dylan DeRoss had two singles for EF and Garrett Martell singled and doubled.
