OLSH skaters defeat Falcons, 4-1

OLSH 4, Connellsville 1 — Connellsville’s Paul Neighbors tied the PIHL Division II game a 1-1 in the second period, but visiting Our Lady of the Sacred Heart scored the final three goals Tuesday night for a 4-1 road victory at The Ice Mine.

After a scoreless first period, Mark Zukowski gave the visitors the first lead with his goal at 4:19 of the second period. Tyler Cerankowki’s goal at 15:12 gave the Chargers a 2-1 lead after two periods.

Zukowski scored his second goal of the game just 18 seconds into the third period. Ethan Weisser capped the scoring at 6:40.

The Falcons’ Gerald Furajter faced 26 shots, saving 22. The Chargers’ Cameron Witkowski made 11 saves.
