Yellow Jackets lose at Rochester

The Waynesburg men’s basketball team had a rough opener Saturday in the Lexington Rochester Airport Hotel Tournament, losing to host Rochester, 83-57.

Rochester (5-0) led from the start, holding its largest advantage at 28 points in the first half.

Jon Knab led the Yellow Jackets (1-2) with 12 points. Marcus Wallace and Christian Koroly added eight points apiece.

Waynesburg plays Vassar today at 1 p.m. in the consolation game.
