Elizabeth Forward golfers top Laurel Highlands, Connellsville
Elizabeth Forward remains undefeated in Section 2-AAA play with a 192-214 victory over Laurel Highlands and a 192-225 win over Connellsville on Thursday.
The Warriors’ Angus McHolme fired a 32 for medalist honors, while teammate Joey Klingensmith carded a 35.
Caleb Matthews’ 39 had the low round for Laurel Highlands, while teammates John Ek and Olivia Soom carded 42s.
The Falcons’ Luke Bruner scored a 41 for his team’s low round. Kyle Burkeholder carded a 44 and Chase Richardson a 45.
Matt Benedek (41), Mitchell McCall (42) and Garin Martik (42) rounded out the scoring for the Warriors.
LH’s Steve Ross (45) and Greg Hensh (46) closed out their team’s round.
Connellsville’s Lydia Glofelty shot a 47.
