Appolonia’s hat trick leads Yough to 5-0 win

Yough 5, McGuffey 0 – Justine Appolonia scored a hat trick Saturday to lead Yough to a 5-0 Section 3-AA victory at McGuffey.

Appolonia scored two in the first half and one in the second. She also assisted on Emily Franzetta’s goal.

Alexis Boyle scored for the Lady Cougars (1-0, 2-1) and Amber Biros had a pair of assists. Ashlynn Swauger faced only one shot to preserve the shutout.
