Charleroi boys shut out Wash High, 8-0

Charleroi 8, Washington 0 – Charleroi exploded for seven second-half goals Thursday night as the Cougars defeated visiting Washington, 8-0, in Section 3-AA boys soccer action.

Jace Kepich scored four goals in the second half.

Aaron Vavrick scored the lone goal of the first half for the Cougars (3-1, 4-2).

Joe Caruso, Michael Shite and Nick Godwin also scored for Charleroi. Cullin Woytovich had three assists and Ryan Withers had a pair.

Caleb Carson didn’t face any shots in the Charleroi goal.
