Norwin 3, Connellsville 2 – Connellsville lost to Norwin by the smallest possible margin in Section 3-AAAA girls volleyball action Tuesday night.

The teams battled to a 2-2 tie before the Lady Knights eeked out a 15-13 win in the fifth and deciding set.

Sara Ellis led the Falcons with 40 assists, while Gianna Sigado had 20 kills and 22 digs, along with one block. Elli Cook had six kills and a pair of digs, while Abbie Davis had 13 kills and three blocks. Maggie Means managed 30 digs, but the Lady Falcons fell to 3-2, 1-2, while Norwin was winning its first section match.

Norwin won the first (25-20) and third sets (25-18), while Connellsville took the second (25-17) and fourth sets (25-23) to force the deciding set.
