Lady Raiders blank Lady Colonials

Uniontown scored two first-half goal in a 3-0 Section 2-AAA girls soccer victory over Albert Gallatin on Monday at Albert Gallatin.

The Lady Raiders’ Nadia Johnson scored the opening goal and Abigail Marinucci scored for a 2-0 Uniontown lead at halftime.

Uniontown’s Ashlyn Barcheck closed the scoring with a goal in the second half. The Lady Raiders outshot the Lady Colonials, 15-5. Albert Gallatin’s Catie Rankin had two saves in goal and Haley Moats had 10.

Albert Gallatin (0-6, 0-10) hosts Laurel Highlands on Wednesday in a section match that kicks off at 7 p.m.
