Lady Colonials defeat Frazier, 15-5

Albert Gallatin 15, Frazier 5 – Albert Gallatin needed only six innings Monday afternoon for a 15-5 non-section softball win against visiting Frazier.

The Lady Colonials (10-3) scored in every inning. Three in the first, second and fifth innings, and solo runs in the third and fourth innings. They invoked the mercy rule with five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Maddie Flowers hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the second for Albert Gallatin, and Hannah Umbel blasted a solo home run in the fourth.

The Lady Colonials’ Lindsey Robinson led the way with a double, three singles and six RBI. Hannah Turtzer had a double, single and scored three runs. Winning pitcher Maddy Hershberger finished with a double, single and two RBI. Annalia Paoli legged out a triple to go with two singles, four runs scored and three RBI. Ally Bezjak went 3-for-5 with three runs scored.
