Colonials continue winning ways in victory over Falcons, 210-245
Albert Gallatin continued its winning ways with a 210-245 Section 2-AAA boys golf victory over Connellsville on Monday at Pleasant Valley Country Club.
The Colonials (3-0, 3-0) had one birdie, 15 pars and 22 bogeys, while the Falcons (0-2, 0-3) had three pars and 24 bogeys.
Albert Gallatin’s Aaron Fetzner shot an even-par 34 on the front nine, and had the lone birdie in the match on the par-four No. 2 hole. Teammates Cole Bogozi and Jarred Provance carded 42s.
Nolan Porterfield’s 43 was the low round of the day for Connellsville. Teammate Chase Richardson fired a 44, and the Falcons’ Mike McKitrick shot 51.
Dom Neino and Chandler Goodwin finished their rounds at 46 for Albert Gallatin.
Bobby McLuckey (52) and Nate Stefano (55) rounded out the scoring for Connellsville.
The Colonials’ Ethan Davis (53) and the Falcons’ Cole Marian (56) completed rounds that weren’t factored into the scoring.
