Konek’s 42 leads Lady Scots to 81-47 win

Southmoreland junior Cali Konek nearly outscored Frazier by herself Saturday as the Lady Scotties won their tip-off tournament with an 81-47 victory over the Lady Commodores.

Konek scored 42 points, including six 3-pointers, for game-high honors. Sarah Pisula added 10.

Brooke Poling finished with 26 points for Frazier (1-1).

The Lady Scots (2-0) led 29-6 after the first quarter and 43-25 at halftime. The host team then put the game away with a 24-7 advantage in the third quarter.
