Lady Maples fall to Burgettstown, 47-25
The Mapletown girls rallied to tie the game at the half, 11-11, but Burgettstown pulled away in the second half to open the Avella Tip-Off Tournament Friday night with a 47-25 win.
The Lady Blue Devils outscored the Lady Maples in the second half, 36-14.
Kayla Smith led Mapletown with nine points and 10 rebounds.
Burgettstown’s Malia Dastellino scored a game-high 13 points. Emily Prasko added 11.
