EF girls lose at Avonworth, 66-54

Elizabeth Forward led 16-12 after the first quarter Monday night, but Avonworth rallied for the halftime lead and carried the momentum for a 66-54 non-section home victory.

The Lady Antelopes (3-0) led 32-25 at halftime and 46-43 at the end of the third quarter. Avonworth put the game away with a 20-11 fourth quarter.

The Robinsons, Hayden (27) and Hunter (10), combined for 37 points for Avonworth.

Brianna Spirnak led the Lady Warriors (1-2) with 22 points. Julia Jenkins added 13.
