Central Valley tops Falcons in high-scoring hockey clash, 10-7

Central Valley exploded for six third-period goals to pull away from visiting Connellsville, 10-7, in a PIHL hockey game at the Beaver Ice Arena on Thursday night.

Noah Yerdon scored three of this four goals in the final period and also had two assists in a six-point performance for the Warriors. Anthony Santilli also had a hat trick along with an assist for the hosts.

Travis Sipple had two goals for Connellsville and Ryan Brown had a five-point game with a goal and four assists. Abrahm Thomas and Milan Deffibaugh each had a goal and and assist for the Falcons, who also got goals from Luke Wascak and Michael Mckitrick.

The Falcons led 1-0 after the first period. The pace picked up in the second, which ended in a 4-4 tie.

Central Valley took charge with three goals in the first 4:!7 of the third period as Yerdon scored twice after Benjamin Krummert found the net to put the Warriors ahead to stay.
