Lady Leopards defeat South Park, 53-36

Belle Vernon 53, South Park 36 – The Belle Vernon girls led 13-7 after the first quarter Thursday night and maintained lead throughout the final three quarters for a 53-36 Section 3-AAAA victory over visiting South Park.

Kelsey Green led the Lady Leopards (3-0, 5-2) with 17 points. Keira Boff finished with 14 and Caitlyn Trombley added 13.

Maura Huwalt was the top scorer for South Park (1-2, 3-40 with nine points.
