PAC recognizes local players

Waynesburg senior Jon Knab and Grove City College freshman Justice Rice have been honored by the Presidents’ Athletic Conference for their play over the past week.

Knab, a senior forward, was named the Player of the Week after he averaged 24 points per game. He also averaged six rebounds and three steals in two victories.

Knab scored 27 points, grabbed five rebounds and six steals in a 80-74 win over visiting Hilbert on Tuesday, and followed that performance the next day with 21 points, seven rebounds and three assists in an 84-78 win at Muskingum.

A Monessen grad, Rice scored 14 points and dished out three assists in the Wolverines’ 74-50 win against Mount Aloysius.
