Monessen races past Pioneers, 83-46
Monessen scored over 20 points in each of the first three quarters Friday night for an 83-46 Section 2-A victory over visiting West Greene.
The Greyhounds (7-0, 10-5) led 21-10, 43-19 and 71-32 at the quarter breaks.
Justice Rice scored a game-high 22 points for Monessen. Jaden Altomore finished with 17 and Lyndon Henderson added 14.
Kolton Rush led the Pioneers (5-3, 11-5) with 20 points. Craig Weaver (12) and Craig Weaver (10) also finished in double figures.
