Lady Bucs edge Bentworth, 1-0
Chartiers-Houston 1, Bentworth 0 – Keylee Acor scored in the first half and that’s all Chartiers-Houston needed to defeat visiting Bentworth, 1-0, in Section 2-A action Wednesday night.
Acor converted a poor clearing attempt into the game’s lone goal about 30 minutes into the first half.
The Lady Bearcats had several good scoring opportunities in the second half, but were unable to convert any into goals.
Bentworth is now 8-2-1 in the section and 9-4-1 overall. The win keeps the Lady Bucs’s playoff hopes alive as they improve to 4-6-1 in the section and 5-10-1 overall.
