Levi Jordan’s fourth extra-point of the game was the difference as Bentworth outlasted Waynesburg Central in two overtimes, 28-27, Friday night in Century Conference action.

Bentworth had the ball first in the second overtime and scored when Ben Peternal gathered in a 10-yard touchdown pass from Shawn Dziak. Jordan’s made the point after for a 28-21 lead.

The Raiders responded with an 8-yard touchdown pass from Dylan Scritchfield to Avery McConville, but the tying extra-point was missed.

Nate Stephenson scored first in the overtime to give the Raiders a 21-14 lead, but the Peternal-Dziak connection worked again for a 10-yard touchdown pass.

Stephenson led the Raiders (1-5, 1-6) with 139 yards on 32 carries. Scritchfield completed 5-of-11 passes for 52 yards and one interception.

Riordan Tush gained 51 yards on the ground, 50 coming on his touchdown run. Dziak completed 12-of-23 passes from 178 yards and three interceptions. Peternal caught six passes for 116 yards.
