Lady Warriors march past Uniontown, 7-1

Elizabeth Forward 7, Uniontown 1 – Natalie Chornak and Cassidy Kern scored two goals apiece as host Elizabeth Forward defeated Uniontown, 7-1, in a Section 2-AAA girls volleyball match on Wednesday night.

The Lady Warriors jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the first half but the Lady Raiders’ (0-4, 0-1) defense stiffened in the second half, allowing only one goal.

Elizabeth Forward (1-1, 1-0) also got goals from Nola McGuire, Hayley Palmer and Natalie Beinlich. Bailey Lindberg made five saves for EF.
