Albert Gallatin continued its ways with a 218-229 Section 2-AAA victory over Belle Vernon on Wednesday in boys’ golf action at Cedarbrook Golf Course.

The Colonials (7-2, 9-3) were led by Cole Bogozi’s even-par 36. Teammate Aaron Fetzner fired a 43 and AG’s Ethan Davis came in at 46.

Jake Caldwell’s 41 paced the Leopards (2-6, 2-8). Teammates Joe Myers (43) and Tom Huffman (44) kept Belle Vernon in the mix.

The fourth and fifth scores were pivotal in the Colonials’ triumph, as Chandler Goodwin (46) and Jarred Provance (47) outscored the Leopards’ Justin Young (49) and Luke Long (52).

Albert Gallatin’s Dom Neino carded a 49 that wasn’t used, and Belle Vernon’s Tucker West finished with a 57 that wasn’t factored into the final results.
