Trojans score 42 in second quarter in 48-7 win
Derry scored 42 points in the second quarter on its way to a 48-7 Interstate Conference victory Friday night at Southmoreland.
Colton Nemcheck scored the lone touchdown of the first quarter for the Trojans (2-1, 3-1) on a 3-yard run at 7:56.
Onreey Stewart scored on runs of 18 and 24 yards. Nemcheck added rushing touchdowns of 3 and 39 yards in the second quarter. Dominic DeLuca covered a fumble in the end zone for a score and darted into the end zone for an 11-yard scoring run.
Nemcheck gained 103 yards rushing on six carries and Stewart ran for 81 on nine attempts.
Jaden Datz scored from a yard out for the Scotties (0-2, 0-3).
Ronnie Robinson gained 97 yards rushing on 15 attempts.
