Carmichaels scored 41 points in the first half Friday night and cruised through the final 24 minutes for a 47-13 Tri-County South Conference victory over visiting Avella.

Kevin Kelly had touchdown passes of 2, 45, 65 and 14 yards for the Mikes (3-0, 3-1). Kelly completed 6-of-9 passes for 155 yards.

Broadwater caught one of the touchdown passes and connected on three extra-points.

Chad Ruse had a 45-yard touchdown reception and returned a kickoff 82 yards for a touchdown. Dylan Wilson and Garrett Ponick also had touchdown receptions.

Owen English scored on a 6-yard run for the Eagles (0-4, 0-5) and connected with Cameron Lawrence for a 59-yard touchdown pass.
