Carmichaels 3, Mapletown 1 – Mapletown won the first set, but Carmichaels rebounded by winning the next three for a 3-1 win Monday night in Section 2-A action.

The Maples (3-4, 5-4) grabbed the early lead with a 27-25 win, but the Lady Mikes fought back to win the next three sets, 25-11, 25-19, 25-18.

Grace Kerr had a triple-double for the Lady Mikes (5-2, 5-2) with 13 service points, 21 assists and 16 digs. Meighan Spishock had 11 service points and 10 kills. Aubree Ferek (16 service points), Jadyn Barnish (15 assists), Kristina Aeschbacher (7 kills), Taylor Christopher (8 kills), and Michaela Ricco (17 digs) also contributed to the victory.

Makenzie Cree and Madison Kuis both had 10 digs for the Lady Maples. Kelsi Smith had seven kills and three blocks.
