Lady Warriors suffer heartbreaking loss in Section 3-AAA volleyball action

Elizabeth Forward suffered a heartbreaking 3-2 setback to Thomas Jefferson on Tuesday in Section 3-AAA girls’ volleyball play at Thomas Jefferson High School.

The Lady Warriors jumped out to a 1-0 lead after winning the first set, 25-15. The Lady Jaguars took the second, 25-15, but Elizabeth Forward edged TJ, 25-23, in the third for a 2-1 advantage.

Thomas Jefferson tied the match at 2-2 with a 25-20 win in the fourth, and was victorious in the decisive fifth set, 16-14.
