DeMoss throws 2-hitter in Red Raiders’ 10-0 win
Connor DeMoss tossed a two-hitter and the Red Raiders’ offense made the most of four singles Friday afternoon as Uniontown defeated visiting South Park, 10-0, for a Section 3-AAAA victory.
South Park committed four errors and walked six.
Uniontown scored seven runs in the bottom of the first inning. Brandon Swaney had the key hit in the inning with a two-run single.
The Red Raiders added another run in the third and invoked the mercy rule with two outs in the bottom of the sixth when they scored two runs.
DeMoss struck out 10 and walked two for the win.
