California University of Pa. graduate student Summer Hill has been honored by the PSAC as one of the Winter 2017-18 Top 10 Award recipients for excellence in the classroom and athletics.

Candidates must be a student-athlete with a minimum 3.50 GPA and be a starter or key reserve on their respective teams. The winter sports eligibility list includes men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s indoor track & field, men’s and women’s swimming, and wrestling.

Hill excelled in indoor track over the winter, earning USTFCCCA All-Region recognition in the 800, mile and distance medley relay. She was All-PSAC in the mile after placing second and was part of the distance medley relay squad that set a school record with a time of 11:45.76.

Hill is an Exercise Science and Health Promotion major with her Bachelor’s in Sport Management. She holds a cumulative 3.90 GPA, with a 3.89 GPA in her bachelor’s.
