Trojans sweep section meet from Frazier
California (girls) 85, Frazier 55; California (boys) 77, Frazier 64 – The California boys and girls track & field teams were too strong for visiting Frazier as the home team swept past the Commodores in Section 6-AA action.
The California girls won, 85-55, while the Trojans defeated the Commodores, 77-64.
Makayla Boda (100 high hurdles, 16.87; 300 intermediate hurdles, 51.04), Deja Walker (100, 13.02), Bre Trusler (200, 27.79), Marissa Bitonti (shot put, 27-10; discus, 88-6½; javelin, 125-5), Annalise Gillespie (triple jump, 30-½; high jump, 4-11) all finished first for the Lady Trojans.
California also swept the relays.
Frazier’s Isabella Kudyba (1,600, 7:09.48; 3,200, 16:30.44), Kendall Shaporka (400, 1:08.91), McKenzie Miller (800, 3:11.16), and Khrystine Barch (long jump, 13-10½) had first-place finishes.
Dustin Mock (110 high hurdles, 17.51; 300 intermediate hurdles, 43.65), Tyler Kubala (Charles Roberts (1,600, 5:30.58; 3,200, 12:11.35), Ben Bilitski (shot put, 36-6), and Harry Lallier (javelin, 121-3) had first-place finishes for the Trojans.
California won the 3,200 relay.
Frazier won the 400 and 1,600 relays.
The Commodores’ Julian Muccioli (100, 11.37; long jump, 19-7; triple jump, 37-7½), Vinny Muccioli (400, 1:00.53), Robert Acklin (800, 2:34.31), and Greg Lynch (shot put, 84-9) all won their individual events.
