Lady Commodores defeat Fort Cherry, again

Logan Hartman threw a no-hitter and Frazier needed only three innings to defeat Fort Cherry, 17-0, on Thursday.

The Lady Rangers had a little more life in their bats in Friday’s Section 3-AA game, but the Lady Commodores still prevailed, winning 16-5 in six innings.

Frazier improves to 6-0 in the section and 7-3 overall. Fort Cherry slips to 1-5 and 2-6.

Kara Mastowski pitched the first three innings to earn the win. She allowed five runs on four hits with four strikeouts and two walks.

Hartman pitched the final three innings, allowing no runs on two hits with no walks and seven strikeouts.

Emi Curcio was a tough out for Fort Cherry pitchers with two singles, a double and five RBI. Kayla Matway finished with three singles, a double and an RBI, while Lauren Mastowski had a double and RBI.
