Lady Hillers trip up Albert Gallatin, 13-12

Trinity rallied for a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth inning Wednesday afternoon for a key 13-12 Section 2-AAAAA victory over visiting Albert Gallatin.

Marlaina Bozek’s triple brought home the tying and winning runs for Trinity.

The Lady Colonials (6-2, 7-2) led 12-5 heading into the bottom of the fifth inning, but Trinity cut the gap to a single run after scoring six times.

Kylie Poland pitched the final four innings to earn the win.

The Lady Colonials’ Maddie Flowers came on in relief of starter Maddy Hershberger and took the loss.

Albert Gallatin’s Annalia Paoli belted a pair of home runs. She had a 3-run blast in the third inning and another 3-run shot in the fifth inning. Paoli finished 4-for-5.

Flowers had three doubles. Ally Bezjak went 4-for-5 with a double and three singles. Katie Kelley and Harlie Vance also doubled.

Trinity improves to 6-3 in the section and 9-5 overall.
