Jaguars rally for 7-3 win at Albert Gallatin

Thomas Jefferson 7, Albert Gallatin 3 – Albert Gallatin rallied to tie the game at 3-3, but visiting Thomas Jefferson scored four late runs Monday afternoon for a 7-3 victory in Section 3-AAAAA action.

The Jaguars (3-9, 5-11) led 2-0 after the first inning and 3-0 in the top of the third, but the Colonials came back with three runs in the bottom of the inning.

Thomas Jefferson scored a single run in the top of the sixth to regain the lead, then added three insurance runs in the top of the seventh inning.

Adam Simon had a double and single for the Colonials (3-5, 4-7). Willie Palmer took the loss, allowing all seven runs (three earned) on eight hits with one walk and three strikeouts.
