Lady Commodores breeze to 16-2 win
Frazier 16, Beth-Center 2, 5 innings – Frazier scored in each inning Monday afternoon as the visiting Lady Commodores cruised to a 16-2 victory at Beth-Center in Section 3-AA action.
Frazier (8-0, 9-4) scored once in the top of the first inning, four in the second and fifth innings, five in the third inning and two in the top of the fourth.
Kara Mastowski pitched the final three innings for the win. She allowed two runs on two hits (to MacKenzie Crile and Hannah Moore), struck out three and walked three. She also just missed hitting for the cycle with a single, double and triple.
Frazier’s Kathryn Barch also just missed the cycle, with a home run, triple and single. Savannah Berklovich tripled and Juliann Johnson doubled in the win.
Beth-Center goes to 2-6 in the section and 2-8 overall.
