By The 1 min read

Trinity 83, Waynesburg Central 49 – Trinity put four players in double figures on its way to an 83-49 victory over shorthanded Waynesburg Central in a non-section boys basketball game on Monday night.

The Class 4-A Raiders (4-18) played their season finale without the services of their all-time leading scorer, Darton McIntire, as well as Lucas Garber and Chris King, who were all out due to flu-like symptoms.

Aaron Yorio stepped up for Waynesburg to score a game-high 25 points, including six 3-pointers, but it wasn’t nearly enough for the visitors.

Jeff Ecker led the Class 5-A, playoff-bound Hillers (18-4) with 15 points and was followed by Dylan Kern (14), Joey Koroly (12) and Zach Ecker (11).

Trinity jumped out to a 20-5 lead in the opening quarter and pulled away from there.
